Race Recap: Snohomish River Run & Run and Run S'more 5k
The team had a busy weekend attending a new local 5k on Saturday followed a favorite race from past seasons on Sunday.
Run and Run S'more 5k
We were honored to participate in the inaugural Seattle Run and Run S'more 5k on Saturday in Bothell. If the promise of gourmet s'mores at the finish line wasn't enough to motivate us to show up, the race beneficiary sure was! All of the proceeds raised by the race were donated to the Jackson Hill Foundation - a foundation that creates family wellness centers in children's hospitals across the nation.
We are excited to watch this event grow over the coming years and can't wait for next year!
Snohomish River Run
The team continued their full weekend of racing on Sunday by braving the cold early morning temperatures at the Snohomish River Run. This race has been one of our favorites for awhile because Snohomish Running Company always puts on a good race and somehow the weather always seems to cooperate.
We had a strong showing across the board with lots of overall placers, age group winners, and big PRs. Everyone has been training especially hard this season so it was nice to see everyone's hard work and dedication pay off!

The photos in the gallery above were taken by Greg Frenkel and he has generously allowed us to include them here on the blog. Thanks Greg!
We also want to give a HUGE thank you to our members who weren't racing who volunteered to staff one of the aid stations along the course. Being able to give back to a running community that has supported our growth over the years was very special to us.
