And no matter what race you choose, you’ll break the finish line tape in front of cheering fans at Historic Hayward Field – one of the world’s most revered track and field venues and home to iconic athletes and coaches such as Steve Prefontaine, Bill Bowerman and Ashton Eaton.
Named a “perfect race” by Runner’s World magazine, you’ll enjoy a scenic, USATF-certified course known for its flat and FAST route as it passes through beautiful parks and tree-lined paths that crisscross the picturesque Willamette River.
Come out and show your 12s Spirit at the 2018 Seahawks 12K Run at The Landing!
The event is back in its ninth year and promises to be bigger, faster, stronger and LOUDER for your Seattle Seahawks! The 2018 Seahawks 12K Run at The Landing is sure to provide a day of fun for the whole family. The event will also feature the GLOW 5K Run/Walk that will tour The Landing and surrounding Renton neighborhoods, as well as a Half-Mile Kids Run that will be completely contained within The Landing.
Every year, thousands of runners and walkers cross the finish line at the annual springtime running of Mercer Island Rotary’s Half Marathon which includes 10K and 5K races along with a Kids’ Dash, all designed to help raise funds and awareness to fight colon cancer and to benefit an array of other charitable causes supported by the Mercer Island Rotary Club Foundation.
While the 10K race is for runners only, both the 13.1-mile half marathon and the 5K welcome walkers as well as runners. From the starting line on the outskirts of Luther Burbank Park on the northern end of the island, the race unfolds along an out-and-back course that takes a clockwise loop around the island and features a wealth of rolling hills along the way, as well as a few uphill and downhill challenges.
It began in 1985 as a race between bars and as a training event for an Irish Olympian. Now it’s Seattle’s largest single-distance fun run/walk, where the winners cross the finish before the last person starts. The Dash fills three miles of Seattle streets with a ribbon of green.
The F5 St. Patrick’s Day Dash is a family event with something for everyone. There are young athletes racing to be the first across the Finish Line, and former jocks racing to be the first in the beer garden. With 34 years of history, the Dash attracts three generations of participants.
The Lake Sammamish Half Marathon takes runners along the smooth trail that connects Marymoor Park in Redmond to Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. This interurban trail is very popular with runners; about 30% of the course will be on smooth gravel surface and 70% on pavement.
The race is chip-timed, and each racer will receive a custom bib, a finisher medal, a long-sleeve microfiber Tech Shirt and sponsor products. Aid stations are provided every few miles (see course map) with Clif gels/bloks, fruit, nuun and water, and the finish line will be by the beach and includes a nice line up of food and music.
Come join us on this fun long weekend. We will be having our 5k 10k 15k and two person 5k team option for this event. For the 5k team option create a team name for the two of you and each person runs a 5k and both times are added together at the end for your team time.
Based at beautiful Magnuson Park on the shores of Lake Washington the scenic 5k, 10k and 15k run/walks are fun and affordable.
